Yellowhead Campground ( Valemount )
Our beautiful campground is located on 30 acres of park like setting, featuring majestic trees and bordering Swift Creek, where the Chinook salmon spawn in the summer. We are easy to find on Yellowhead Highway #5, the entrance is just 1000 feet (300 meters) north of the Swift Creek Bridge, on the edge of the Village of Valemount, British Columbia. Valemount means "Valley in the Mountains" . This lovely town is surrounded by three mountain ranges: the Rocky Mountains, Cariboo Mountains and Monashee Mountains. Walk to Valemount's town centre, shopping, restaurants and amenities. We offer something for everyone, from Pull-thru Sites that will accommodate the larger RVs to Tent Sites for the more adventurous camper, all nestled in among the forest. Come watch the salmon spawn in Swift Creek and enjoy our wilderness campground. Pets welcome.
