Ducks and Roses Bed and Breakfast is gay friendly, dog friendly, B&B accommodation located on a quiet, paved country road in the Comox Valley on the central East coast of Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada.The B&B is 7km Northwest of Courtenay only a 10 minute drive from the base of Mount Washington, home of the Mt. Washington Ski Resort and gateway to Strathcona Provincial Park. Our B&B lodgings provide easy access to nordic and alpine snowsports in the winter, and hiking and birding all year. Ducks and Roses Bed and Breakfast is centrally located for easy access to many destinations on North central Vancouver Island. We are a 20 minute drive from the Comox Valley Airport, Buckley Bay Ferry Terminal (to Denman & Hornby Islands), Courtenay Bus Depot and the Comox Valley Via Rail train station. Campbell River is a short drive north on the new Inland Highway 99.
Ducks and Roses B&B is located on 5 acres by a 30 acre marsh in the stewardship of The Land Conservancy of B.C. The Beaufort Mountains offer a remarkable background to the abundant animal and plant life of the marsh; truly a birder�s delight. Out of respect for our environment, we maintain a non-smoking acreage.
