Completed in 2002, OceanLook Bed and Breakfast was custom designed by a local Sunshine Coast architect to be both our home and your private Gibsons, BC retreat. The suites are located on an exclusive floor of the house overlooking the ocean. Each suite has a private entrance, private deck, sitting area and an ensuite bath with a 6' soaker tub. The grounds include a hot tub and are landscaped for your privacy.

OceanLook B&B overlooks the Strait of Georgia and is nestled amongst majestic cedars and tall Douglas fir. OceanLook is just 9 km from the ferry, 4 km from the heart of Gibsons, and 250 feet from the water's edge.

In the morning, enjoy a sumptuous breakfast in the fire-warmed dining room, or, on the teak furnished sundeck - both overlooking the ocean. Breakfast includes: a fresh fruit plate, a delicious hot entree such as smoked salmon roulade or belgian waffles, and home-made baking served hot from the oven.

In the afternoon, go for a walk on the oceanfront esplanade, or a stroll on the beach, both located just steps from the house. Try one of the three local golf courses, or borrow our bikes for a ride to the funky shops of lower Gibsons. Experience the tranquility of ocean kayaking, or have Jim show you how to build a cedar strip kayak in the workshop. Drive to the Skookumchuk rapids and experience the world's fastest tide rips; or just relax on your private deck reading a good book and counting the eagles soaring by.

In the evening stroll to the Chez Philippe restaurant for fine French dining or take a five minute drive to the quaint restaurants of Gibsons including Molly's Reach (home of the Beachcombers). When you return. watch cruise ships sail by while you relax in the hot tub. Enjoy an evening coffee on your private deck while admiring the deer eating roses from Claudia's garden, then fall asleep in your pillow laden bed to the sound of waves lapping on the shore and the moon's glint on the ocean.
